I just received word from the organizers of the quilt show scheduled for mid October in Ponchatoula, LA that they have postponed their show until October 2006. They are 45 minutes from New Orleans and received some damage from Hurricane Katrina. If it were just their area and their amount of damage they could hold the show but there is so much general upheaval in LA that they decided it was best to postpone it until next year.
