quilting fleece

Can anyone say how hard hand quilting fleece is before I start, I have a hug quilt ( incidentally a new thing here. Club members had never heard of them) pieced and have used my walking foot to serpent stitch around all the blocks.I am not up for frog stitching any hand stitches and ,being lazy thought I could ask.I am positive some of you must have tried. TIA

Estelle,

Around here, fleece comes in a lot of different weights & qualities. I would think that would be the biggest variable. Other than that, the weave seems fairly loose, but that could be a variable too. HTH.

I don't think fleece is woven or are we speaking of a different kind of fleece? Julie

Howdy!

Handquilt fleece?

I wouldn't, and I handquilt everything. Is it cotton? Is it a polyester blend? No, thanks. It tends to be a bit "tough" on the needle, and on the hands. Stick w/ your machine for fleece. ;-D
