Thank you, Jessamy!

I'm so glad you're doing another mystery quilt. I loved doing the 4th of July Mystery Quilt, and my friends were proud of me for finishing something!

School has started -- I'm a teacher. New subject, new school, new materials. I'm beginning to feel a bit less overwhelmed. (Did that make sense?)

Your mystery quilt might be just what I need. I want to Quilt Pink that weekend, so maybe I'll do pinks and white. I'll have to throw another color in there. . . . .

Thank you for some fun to look forward to!

You are most welcome!

yes that did make sense - a new school year is busy whit getting used to things, the new routine, new faces and a hundred names to attempt to remember as well as life in general needing to move around to accommodate school.

how about some Purple or possibly green (grassy/lighter ones) to add to the mix?

Oh! That sounds neat! I wonder if I have a third color to go with my pink and the pink with lime polka dots...or is it lime with pink dots? Time to rootle through the stash, me thinks!

Love all the color suggestions! I decided to go with the green-yellow-white after all. I have soooooo much green. (Yes, even a bit of lime!)

I want to do just the pink-white combination for the Quilt Pink Day to help fight breast cancer. I'll wait until November 6 to start the pink-white. That's my grandma's birthday. She died of breast cancer about 20 years ago. The rest of us girls in the family have had some scares and some surgeries, but nothing life threatening. Grandma lived to 76 without ever having the cancer treated.

I bought some of the "official" Quilt Pink fabric, but not intentionally. I liked the patterns and later found out it was in the Moda Quilt Pink collection -- the polka dots and stars. So the Quilt Pink fabrics almost went into my polka dot and stars collections. (I even have a piece from some other manaufacturer than has lime green stars with pink polka dots on white!)

Well, back to cutting my greens for the mystery quilt.

Kay Ahr how about some Purple or possibly green (grassy/lighter ones) to add to the mix?

Ooooh, those sound like good colors. I have Halloween fabrics with the lime-purple-tangerine.

Well, my pieces are finally all cut. I went with chocolate, pink & aqua! Can't wait for the next round of instructions. Teri

All cut here, too. I went with the green-yellow since I have sooooooooo much green in my stash. Had to make sure I had light yellow and dark yellow for the borders though. Can't say I've ever noticed shades of yellow before. . . . .

Don't have the backing though. Might go with some green-yellow once I see what the front looks like.

WOO HOO Kay!

backing isn't an issue till you are all done but I like to give amounts before we start so people can keep an eye out for backing while they are stashdiving ;-)

Don't tell anybody -- I've been known to dumpster-dive too!
