Alright, Christine, my offhand guesses were totally wrong. After digging through my collection of online pictures and my color catalogs, I am extremely sure that the golden iris is Wild Jasmine and that the top right picture is Sweet Musette.
I can scan in the catalog pictures and descriptions if you like, but these two distinctive blooms look dead on like the catalog. They've both won two of the lesser medals , so they are well thought of at iris shows.
With the easily hundreds of varieties of dark purple iris, too many with the tangerine/orange beards, there is no way I could identify the top left iris. Someone out there knows what it is, but not me.
Thanks for the fun challenge as I always enjoy looking at irises! I have over 70 varieties in my gardens.
