Wow sounds great!!! You will have fun with the sizzix :) I know that my DH likes to play with it :) What does the Xyron do? I keep hearing people talk about it but I don't know what it does. I've seen one at Michaels I believe.
Oh ok.. so you can laminate stuff.. Not just make it into a sticker.. Which Xyron would you have a beginner like myself use?

Well, it's really a matter of personal preference. They come in different widths, so it's really up to you how big of a sticker or laminated object (or magnet) you think you'll want to make. For me, the 5" Brother is/was just fine. The only reason I'm going up to the
900 is that it's cheaper to buy it from Costco than to buy the 500 from anywhere else. I'm also wanting the 150 because they are great for sticking letters, etc. (small things) and you don't feel like you have to do several things at once to keep from wasting the laminate or sticker paper. Anyway, I'd suggest asking others what their opinions are but for me a 5" or larger would be my suggestion for a first machine :)
