LOL.
I was a good girl and waited until this morning to open my Secret Santa gift AND my Super Secret Santa gift!! Oh, my goodness, what great surprises from both of them!!! :*)
Haven't had a chance to play with the Silent Setter yet, but I'll be checking that out tomorrow. ;-) My SIL has requested that I make an album of my nephew's visit here the past week, so I'd like to get that done before they return from visiting her brother in Austin next week. I'll be using all these things in the near future!
Thanks so much for this stuff, M-C, I hope you enjoyed what I sent you as much as I did your gifts! :*)
Seems my Super Secret Santa was DAVE!!! :-) He sent me an embossing pen, and several boxes of lovely embossing powders and a large container for my eyelets and brads--thank you, SSS! :-)
Both made lovely homemade cards, and we displayed them on the dining room table when we ate dinner today so everyone could see them. Maya especially liked the Christmas tree Dave made out of bubble wrap, since she's a bubble wrap fiend! :-) Very cool. I liked the embossed Santa on M-C's card too. Nice.
All of our company just left and we are winding down for the evening. I just wanted to say thank you to my SS M-C and my SSS Dave, AND to all the kind people on this group who share so many ideas and support and creativity, and dare I say, love?! :*) I've been on newsgroups for a decade now, and this is not the common thing you see. I'm glad I accidentally stumbled on you all earlier this year, it's been a blast!! :*) I actually feel like I've come home here, although I've never met any of you in person. You guys and gals are the best!!
Best wishes to all of you in the coming New Year. God bless you all!
Love, Carolyne in TX (P.S.: My altered clipboard partner had some minor delays so I just got mine this past week, and when I got the package I also got some extra goodies (she didn't need to do that! :-) so I kinda feel like I had 3 Secret Santas this week! :-) Thanks, Ronni!! )
