NSSSF Package Rcv'd

After an exhausting and difficult morning, I received a package from Sandy!! It could not have arrived at a more needed time, thank you so much Sandy. Here's what my surprise contained:

  • 18 Selected Ribbons (These are so lovely, I've already got ideas in mind for some of them)
  • Favourite Findings "Bee Happy" buttons.
  • Favourite Findings "Just Daisies" buttons (two packs)
  • Favourite Findings "Pastel" buttons (gorgeous colours)
  • JoAnn Metal Photo Holders (I've never seen these before)
  • 2 packs of JoAnn Metal Brads
  • A 3-Photo Frame themed "sisters" which is lovely.

Thank you so much for everything, I can't wait to use them. Timmy is in care now for 2 weeks, he has been very volatile at home lately. He smashed my front door this morning and showered me in glass, I was so terrified. I really need to have the break to recharge my batteries. So I'm going to set aside some scrapping time in the next few days that's just for me, and I shall get to use some of these new goodies!!

Cec, I can't believe it! You finally got a package from me. But, it's the second package I sent you, and I just mailed it last Momday, March 20th. I wonder where the first package went? The first one went out global express and this one went regular global mail. I'm so glad you liked the package I sent. I thought that spring/daisy LO idea was so cute I had to get the buttons. I just cut the shanks off with a pair of sissors. Can't see purchasing a special tool to cut them off.

Get some rest and rejuvenate. Everyone needs a break once in a while. Being a foster parent can be a very stressful position. Sometimes it's hard to figure out what can set of 'a situation.' My DS is ADHD. He is not a problem at school, but seems to bottle up all of his energy/frustrations of the day and releases them at home right after school. We have learned that one of the major things that will set him off is to be touched by another child. I know that sounds crazy, but he needs his space and in a childcare setting sometimes that is very hard. Good luck with Tim. Sandy

I'm sorry to hear about Timmy. Take some time for yourself and enjoy your scrapping.
