Just thought I'd share this as we were having a discussion, well at least a few posts on the subject of universal health care with many of our US nationals wishing that they had a system such as Canada's. A few of us who have seen a national system in action responded that it wasn't all you think it is and I remember saying be careful what you wish for. At this point, Canadians have no right to a private insurance plan, it's either wait in Canada or see what your money can buy in another country usually the US. Like I said, this is way off topic, but as mothers, wives and grandmothers, and uncles too Dave and fathers, Matt, we do need to know what our health care is like and perhaps what it could/should be like!
