It is so hard to lose a sibling even when they've been sick and in the end they are in a better place and pain free. But what a blessing that your son and your grandaughter are there to spend time with you Have fun at the graduation on Sunday. Please let your son know how much my DH and I appreciate what he does for this country and by extension for all of us. You are in my prayers.

I am so sorry to hear about your brother. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I am glad to hear that your son and granddaughter are able to spend some time with you, especially since he is about to go overseas (again!) I know you are glad to have them home, especially at this sad time. Enjoy spending time with them, and tell your son for me to be extra careful over there, and that we all truly appreciate what he and is fellow soldiers are doing for all of us.

Thanks everyone for the prayers and thoughts.Also for the messages for my DS. i will let him read the post. he has told me befor that letters from strangers mean more to him then letters from family.He said it was because he knows his family cares and now he knows strangers care too. I was very proud of him for that.

This group is awesome. I always come here when I'm having a bad day ,your post always cheer me up. I think its the humor and the way everyone is one big family. I'm usually a very shy person but it is easy to talk in here. Hope you are staying cool! lin

Lin, my condolences fot you nad your family and PRAYERS and happiess for yor SON!! I am so glad that he will be home for a GREAT visit bfore he has to go back. It is such a mess in our gov't now over the whole thing which means that ALL OF US as americans need to pray, think abou nad support our servicemembers.
