Hi Dave and RCS friends...belated Happy New Year wishes from Scotland :o)
Just received a goodies parcel today from our Super Turkey Dave, which was postmarked 21st November 2006 :o) Don't know where it has been snagged up but it is here now and that is the main thing. Since Dave had mentioned he had sent something....I was beginning to think that it had strayed in the festive mail.
My ST package contained two books of Fiskars beautiful papers & vellums, a Ball Brayer, two tubs of self-adhesive beads, a real cute desk ornament and a gorgeous post card, which is like mother-of-pearl on a black background.....very pretty. Everything was new to me as the UK is a good bit behind the US in craft trends. I also received a beautiful handcrafted Christmas card, featuring a shaker-style bauble filled with the dinkiest gingerbread men and gold microbeads.
I feel truly blessed at receiving a RAK from Dave and will have lots of fun stroking my pretty goodies and playing with the brayer. I have only every used the ordinary type! TY Dave...you sure brightened up a miserable Scottish week for me :o) It has been raining almost non-stop since Christmas and the gale-force winds we have been experiencing are scary. I hate the wind!!!!! Doesn't help either that I have the startings of either a cold or flu to boot! TY, TY, TY for the treat and ((((((hugs)))))) winging your way.
