if you don't use them for priority, they can fine you... and sometimes they will charge you priority anyways... I've been sending about 50 boxes a month for 4 years now... and got a notice in the mail for turning one inside out and sending it first class....

I do use priority. =) I think it's cheaper. It saves me the hassle to have to weight my packages.

Is it cheaper to send it first class?

go to office max, get yourself a cheapie postal scale (they even have one that you clip to the package and it hangs...).. usually 1st class is cheaper but if its over a certain weight, they require it to go priority..

I went to Walmart last night and got a padded mailing envelope for $1.47 and its 14.25x19inches that im gonna use to mail my 12x12 page swap. I know its a bit more expensive than going to the pizza shop and asking to buy a box, but I think I will check into the usps website and order boxes from them..I can at least use them to store paper and stuff in if I dont use them all to mail stuff. Just my 2cents! Gina
