Question for glue stick users

What do you guys use to remove any excess glue if it gets onto the photo accidentally? I've attempted my first mosaic LO and some glue got on the edge of one of the pieces. I rubbed it of with a tissue, and made a total mess. Fortunately, It was a photo I reprinted, and not the original! Also it's just on the edge of one of the pieces, so I'll try to camoflage it somehow.

Judy, you need one of those eraser things that pick up gummy glue residue. Some help I am. I have one and love it, but can't think of what it's called. I don't even know if they would have them over there. It's square and cream colored. Aww geez, I'm no help. Maybe someone else knows what I'm talking about.

PS: I gave Dave one in his SS gift. Maybe he'll read this and b of help.

Making Memories makes one of the glue erasers - cost around $3. Sandy

Thanks Katrina and Sandy :) That's something I'll have to get in the near future. We are leaving on holiday for Port Elizabeth this coming week. If all goes well, we'll be back next Sunday. Wishing everyone a happy scrappy week :)

Have a GREAT time Judy! I'll be getting one of those glue erasers too. Had never heard of such a thing.

I just use a regular white eraser. Just pick one up at Staples or Office Depot or even your local drugstore.

Have a great time. It's nice to get away for a while. My DD and DS are both home from school all next week for spring break. Day care still open so I'll have extra schoolagers next week too. It'll not be dull around here that's for sure. Sandy

I bought a special glue eraser made by the Xyron people... it was a bit expensive but you just keep on trimming the edge off it as it gets messed up and it lasts practically forever! It's also great for cleaning glue residue off your scissors and knives if you have been cutting sticky things. ~Karen aka Kajikit Crafts, cats, and chocolate - the three essentials of life

I want another one! I haven't seen them in Florida yet... my LSS has all sorts of things, but some of the 'basics' I'm used to aren't there! (pouts) I need removable gluedots or removable glue/tape and they don't have any... and they don't sell punches (I'll have to get them online) and a few other things. ~Karen aka Kajikit Crafts, cats, and chocolate - the three essentials of life

I have used just a plain old pencil erasure sometimes, too. Gets in small spaces real well. Use a white one.he orange ones tend to make a mark.LOL
