On Wednesday I had a note in my mailbox saying there was a box for me. Dad had said he was sending a 3rd package, but couldn't figure out why he'd send it to my home address instead of work, as he had done for the first two. Marked on the form to have it redelivered today when I'd be home.
On my way downstairs to do laundry I spied the mailcarrier & a box, & asked if it was for me. She said it was, so I said I'd pick it up in a few minutes. (Had planned on washing my bedding this weekend anyway, but Tigger apparently wanted to make sure, since he threw up on it [with me under the covers] early this morning. :::sigh:::)
Picked up the box on the way back upstairs & to my surprise the return address said only "SS". The postmark defintely isn't dad's (he hasn't been in that city since WW II), but I can guess who it came from.
