I don't even need to open this gift, just the fact that someone out there did this is incredible.
I'm having one of those weeks, trying to get my 50+ miles in running during my last weeks of training for the marathon, I've lost my desk under a flurry of mail I'm not responding to, trying to get in OT at work to finish projects due this week, and still manage to finish shopping and get some wrapping done. Not to even mention Christmas cards!! Too much hustle and bustle and no time to enjoy.
Then this box comes ... this strange wonderful box, and when I log in here to look, I see it HAD to be someone from here, because other people have gotten these to-and who would do this? What wonderful niceness ... you put the spirit of Christmas right back into me. I had the most calming drive to and from work today, and work was less stressful. Errand to the mall after work-smooth as silk. And all I can think of is there is this wonderful thoughtful person out there. Makes me want to be a better person. Really.
