Glad to see pkgs starting to arrive. My elves have been so busy this year. I took a lunch break to check the group for recieved pkgs.

This year I didn't participate in the Secret Santa exchange because I haven't had much time lately and money was tight at the time of sign ups. Imagine my surprise when the postman brought a Super Secret Santa package to my door! It made my day (which started with a sick child). I put it under my tree. I promise not to open it until Christmas morning. It will be hard because, I can't wait to see who the sneaky Santa is--but I will honor my promise. Thanks so much to the thoughtful Super Sneaky Secret Santa!

I got one today also. The children were so excited to see I got a package from Mr. and Mrs. Santa. They insisted I put it under the tree right away. When their parents came in to pick them up this afternoon they brought them in telling them about me getting a package from Santa. I'll be good and wait.......... That must have been quite a sight. I wonder how many of the munchkins are going to have their parents explain why Santa came to see you so early!

You know that saying "Kids say the darndest things". I do wish I had a video camera just set up to catch some of them. I will never forget lunch time a few years ago. We have what we call table conversation at meal time - to help teach the children to eat a more leisure meal rather than just gobble down their food. Every meal a different child gets to start the topic for discussion and the adults are to join in, but not interfere. The discussion that day was whose dad wore the biggest underwear, and believe it or not they were not arguing, but discussing each dad individually. When they reached the point where they were deciding about bringing in pairs to compare I did have to interfere.........
