"Wish Y'all Were Here" Enabler Alert

Maya went to her friend's birthday party earlier today, and right in the middle I got a call from *my* friend, alerting me to a huuuuuuuge sale that was only going to last a few hours...after the party, Maya and I went to the location (a store had closed) and had a field day! :-) She was grabbing all kinds of stuff they had on clearance--she especially liked the brads, the storage containers, some of the 12x12 papers, and especially the Maya Road products because her name was on it! :-) I found a bunch of embossing stuff, 2 packages of different PearlX powders (5 for $3 each), bottlecaps with designs; vellum sheets; lots of little things like stickers, rub ons, etc. Most were Magic Scraps products, but they had odd and end stuff there as well.

Most things were .25-.50 cents; papers were .10 each; I got several new stamps plus it seems some of the people working their were having their own little 'yard sale' because there were lots of tools, etc that had been used but the prices were so darn good who cares? :-)

We spent about $50, not bad for what was probably at least a couple hundred dollars worth of stuff! I also put my name on their email list as they apparently have these sales every couple of months.

The ladies were all really tickled at Maya, as she worked her way through all the products like she knew exactly what she was looking for, which she did! ;-) She was especially proud of some Sterilite containers that were a quarter each, she got 8 of those to put her stuff in. She really liked a pink photo box with 10 small enclosure envelope/box things inside. That was only $5, and it's really nice. I might have to steal it from her, LOL! We also got a bazillion brads, they had those little teeny baggies full of neon/metallic colored shapes, 10 packages for $1! She had a field day tossing them in our bucket. :-) I also found some National Guard stickers sheets for my brother's military album, which I haven't been able to find in any of the stores around here, so that was a coup in itself! :-)

Sure wish y'all lived closer, I think you all would have cleared the place out!! :-)
