fun fun few days!!

Yvonne, Tracy, Olivia(Yvonnes flatmate) and I met up for dinner last nite. New Zealand is holding its first ever stamping and scrapbooking expo and it is here where Tracy and I live. Yvonne came down with her flatmate yesterday and went to it and a couple of shops and spent a little money! (Lucky thing got to go to it first - drat workingLOL) We then met up went to a Mongolian all you can eat restaurant and had lots of yummy food and pancakes!!!!!!!!. Yvonne then showed us her supply of scrapping products she bought and she did really well. Tracy and I went today with a couple of my friends and it was a good shopping day. LOTS of stamping things, but we dont even want to go there, or could spend zillions on those things. I got a little paper, some 7Gypsies stuff- watch faces etc, brads- silver hearts and flowers, eyelets- really cool beatle cars, Brenda Walton 3D stickers(her stuff is so beautiful), Paper bliss umbrella and gumboots and raindrops, Some canadian stickers "memories Magenta style", phrase cafe stickers(EK success), some cool NRN pansy stickers, SOme paper adventures Heritage stickers, Provocraft flower and bee stickers, Karen Foster Bathtime stickers, packets of fibres, and a Santa paperkins doll. I was fairly restrained but it was so much fun. It was great catching up with Yvonne and meeting her flatmate. Angela. New Zealand.

I'm glad to hear that our hobby is finally popular enough down there for you all to have an expo. They're so fun! Glad y'all got to get together and have a good time. Love that mongolian bar-b-q. By the way, what are the "pancakes" you refered to? Up here pancakes are a breakfast item.

Okay, your pancakes sound like ours. We sometimes serve them w/ fruit in or on top of them. If they're plain then they're buttered and covered w/ syrup. Personally I prefer w/ butter only though. $9.95 American would be a great price! Unfortunatly mongolian bbq goes for a bit more than that in my area. I do like picking out everything and wwatching them cook it though. Glad you all had so much fun! Don't forget to post some pics for us.
