I've been a bad girl!

I broke my oath to only use my stash and not purchase anything for a while. It was all my friend's fault. She asked me to go to Evansville with her when I was down and needed to get out of the house for a while. She plied me with a meal out I didn't have to cook or clean-up after........ We took coupons to Hobby Lobby (I got a new sizzix die and lots of rub-ons, clear alphabets and embellishments from Paper Studio, and more baby stickers for DD's baby album and found lots of clearance), then went to Big Lots and raided their baskets (I didn't know they had page kits for $1.99 and lots of embellishments), went to Michaels (it is a new store and I had not been there yet) - bought a beautiful K & Co. Wedding Album for 1/2 price for a wedding gift for one of my former Girl Scouts, they also have a whole rack of 99 cent 3-D embellishments, and then went to Target and looked through the clearance there - they had some real neat fibers in their $1 bin. We were too late for Ben Franklin and the LSS. I think we were kicked out of about every store we went to. I'm glad they didn't all close at the same time. Now I have lots of new things to look over and feel. I'm glad my DD was in bed when I got home or she'd be after me for some of my new stuff for her stash. I found her a rolling bag at a yard sale for $20 a couple of months ago and now I got to keep an eye on my stuff.

There is even a new one across the river in Henderson I have not had a chance to get to yet, but I heard it is a good one. They have a scrapbook and bead store combination. My oldest DS lives in EV as does 4 of my sisters, one brother and several nieces and nephews. Middle DD attended USI and one of my sisters works there too. Small world!!!! Sandy

I am still in hobby lobby, still have to go by Michaels then to the grocery store..... What do you mean I've been gone 2 hours!?!?! I've only been to one store, ....yes I know we only live

15-20 minutes away....yes dear I'll be home in time for dinner....no please don't ask how much I'm spending, you don't want to know.....(said in a little tiny voice) I love you honey...."

ROFL Shame on you Kenda. You're just a horrible person. How dare you get your priorities out of line?? Don't you know?! You supposed to feed DH and boys first, THEN go craft-store hopping. That way at least the guys are satisfied and hopefully forget that you've been gone for 4 hours. LOL By the way, if they were starving, can't they just call for pizza? (Don't tell your DH I said that!! LOL)

Sounds like you got a lot of bargains that you just couldn't pass up. Every time paper is on sale I buy it (only time I buy paper) and my DH is always saying why buy the paper you still have tons home that you haven't used. They just don't get it. LOL!

Bring the suitcase with you. After all you don't want to spend valuable scrap money on a suitcase!!!

You didn't pay full price for a lot of your stuff--I am not going to ask how much total you spent either--the fact most of it was on clearance, discounted, or you had coupons is very very redeeming! Great Job! Jacqui
