What I've been doing

Well I raided all the flannel out of my stash. I've been making receiving blankets, burpy pads, and wash clothes for the local NICU. I even had some newer stuff I just purchased. So I'm not counting but the stack is high enough on my ironing board if you knock it, they will surely fall over. So I'm very happy I could do for others, and clear some stash. I only kept 3 pieces of flannel.

This all started cuz I bought a used/new to me surger. It's a Janome my lock 534. Purrs like a dream.

Now I need to put all this stuff away and get busy clearly my sewing stuff so I can get back to quilting. I have a top sheet I need to make into a bottom sheet, and a queen size fitted I need to make into a single long fitted sheet. Then I have a least one quilt I need to finish by the end of next month as a friends baby is due early May. All this with a sinus infection and pulled muscles in my neck and shoulder from sneezing. It's getting better but wow it took a lot out of me. Take Care everyone! Joanna

Don't fail to give that sweet new serger a proper vacuuming out. She's probably needing to sneeze too. God bless you both. Polly
