Woohoos! I can't wait to get them. Thank you Kenda for hosting this swap! Hmm....I probably should get some page protectors though. This is my first recipe swap and I don't have anywhere to put them! I should have thought about that weeks ago. LOL Oh well, I do have a spare 3 ring binder, so I think I'll just find some page protectors for them, and decorate/alter the binder. :-)

Yeah - I can't wait!

I even found an old wedding album to alter for a binder for $2 at a second hand store in Eastern WA when I was on vacation!

You and me both! The boys have been after me for some particular dishes but I consider them "winter" foods as I don't like heavy foods in the summer, I mean who wants to fire up the oven in nearly 100 degree heat! LOL They are glad it was really cool today as now I'm in the mood to cook on/in something other than the grill!

Got mine today - YIPPEE!! It is the first recipe swap and I think I ma in Heaven. Now I have to make a shopping list of FOOD stuff until I can decide what or whose to try first!!!

I got mine today! My postman came back after he realized he forgot to bring it with the other mail. (I have such a nice postman.) They're all so wonderful, but I won't spoil the surprise for anyone. :-)

I received my swap today. I'm always amazed at the work and the recipes. Thanks everyone for doing such a good job. As I was going through them my son sat down and he too wants to try several of them. Hummm did I hear him volunteer to cook?

Got mine today, too! I grabbed the mail out of the box as I was leaving for my sisters house. We both saw several we want to try. They all looked wonderful. She wanted to know what she had to do to get involved in recipe swaps. I told her to start posting...... Sandy

Kenda, I got mine yesterday and I love them!! I must apoligise for not putting my name on mine...I did the Derby pie. Didn't do anything fancy but the pie is drop dead deelicious!! It is a copyrighted recipe locally so it is a prize. matted the recipe on cutouts of the twin spires at Churchhill Downs and cut out all of those freakin' horses by hand so didn't do much creating. (think I could beg off about being sick? whine) Love everyone's recipes. I am so pleased with all of my recipe books that I am filling from RCS. Kenda you did a wonderful job on yours and the extra one too!! You are so creative! Loved Dave's and Lynne's and Amy's and Barb...so great! Thank ALL of you for your priceless gift and THANK YOU Kenda!! You are such a gracious hostess.
