New AWESOME Scrapbook Magazine!

Have any of you picked up Scrapbook Answers? It is an amazing and totally different scrapbook magazine. It will apparently always come with a CD full of ideas and scrapbook related software. I love it so much that I am sending in my subscription to it today. It is full of illustrated projects and tips and is just great to read. I don;t often sit down and read scrapbook mags, often I just glance through it, but this one is really different with actual product comparissons (this edition compared print qualities, small printers, and some digital camera models.

If enthusiasm is what is needed in a sales rep, these people should hire me cause I'm sold on this one! Hope you get a chance to pick it up. I found it in Books a Million. If you pick it up there are several charter offers for a 9 issue/9 CD subscription in it for 65% off the newstand rate. At $24.95 it's a steal!

Ooooo....I have just over $8 on a Barnes & Noble card. I wonder if they have Scrapbook Answers. I'll see if I can go look this weekend. I would do it now, if it wasn't for a sick kiddo home.

I'm due for something new. All my subscriptions have run out and I wasn't excited to renew any of them. This sounds really good.

I saw this yesterday at HL. I thought it odd that there was a cd in it. What do I know? I didn't really pay much attention when I looked at it.

I have to admit that I went to Hastings before picking the boys up from ROTC practice. They had it!!! So I picked it up. I haven't had time to look through it, haven't even broken the seal. Reading material before bed.

You are a bad influence~! I had just decided to NOT subscribe to any more mags for awhile LOL I might consider this. have to see if the PX will carry this one or not. Or go up to Ramstein and check the BX there.

Thanks! Susan

Oh that's it! OFFICIAL BAD ENABLER! LOL I went to the shoppette this morning for my gas ration coupons before they go up antoher 8 cents tomorrow for the month. UGH!

Hit the magazines aisle and found the magazine on the very top shelf! I bought one... discount got it for me at $7.19... haven't had time to read it yet, but the fonts alone on the CD description would be worth it. Don't know if it's one I want to sub too, but I can see picking it up on occasion if they continue to sell it.

I think i need to scrap or make some cards! I have an order for one of CGs VA teachers to get done by Thanksgiving to mail out :)

Barnes & Noble had it!!!! And I got it...MUWHAHAHAHAHA!!!! I was very patient, too. There were to men standing in front of the Crafts/Hobbies rack looking through woodworking magazines. Of course, no matter how I did it, I was going to have to interupt their reading. I was proud of myself, because once I recognized the cover (from seeing MC's copy today), I didn't shout, jump, scream, or shove either of the men away. LOL

Shoppette eh??? That would mean AAFES would be carrying it. The gas lines here in Georgia on post tonight were amazing--there were at least ten cars in each line. It was insane. I was glad I was just dropping off the sitter and going home. No way am I going to the shoppette anytime soon. I would add on-post activities as well but I always have something going on. Thanks for giving me another place to check out! Jacqui

You are so good!!! Glad they had it at B&N! Seems like they did an awesome job marketing their first issue or they gave the first issue away for free so that a lot of places would carry it!

Interesting. I've put in a question to the seller of the magazine on EBay to see if they will include the CD or not. They don;t say that they aren't. BTW thanks Scout Lady for the tip. Have you ordered from that seller before?

No I don't think I have bought from that seller but I have ordered many magazines on ebay without any problems. I ordered Scrapbook Answers from the website though because I wanted the CD and then ordered a subscription for my niece from ebay and we can share the CD's.

I just went to the website and ordered the subscription. It wont come with the disc though, but that's okay. :) I like what you guys have said about the mag.

I have tons of scrapbooking mags, Is that something that could be sold on ebay? People actually want those? Thanks Christina

Can I ask how much/what size the ad is? I've seen a few "at-home" scrapping/stamping demonstrators/consultants listed in other magazines and wondered how much they paid for that. I'm thinking if this magazine is new, maybe their rates would be more in my range.
