Started new scrapbook

I started a weight loss scrapbook. I'm hoping it will help keep me focused on what I'm trying to accomplish. Seems I get to about the 25-30 pounds lost range and my enthusiasm wanes. So, thought it would be fun to have something to work on .... to look at ... even to share to remind me everyday of what my plan is and what my goals are and where I want to end up. I'll take a few pictures to share.

Lynne,

I think this is a great idea. I have been trying to lose weight too and thought about doing a small scrapbook on this. I don't know if I would want my friends and family to see it though. Good luck on your weight loss journey. Oh and I'm not a troll, I have been here longer than most of you . I just like to lurk. Just feeling chatty last few days.

That's a great idea, Lynne. I seem to have lost my enthusiasm for losing weight, but to scrap it just might give me that extra push I need. Would you mind sharing how you're doing this? Are you going with 12 x 12 or something smaller?

Dizzy D is familar. I've seen you around. Like you I wouldn't want to share every page on the web site, but enough to give someone an idea of how to start their own. I think I'd only share it with my close personal WW buds. There are 3 of us that decided to start together.

I got an 8X8. I didn't want a huge album, but I wanted it big enough if I wanted to add photos I could too. I'll copy some pages over the weekend to give you an idea.

This sounds like a great idea! I might join you on that. I always struggle to loose the last 5 - 7 kg's. You get that far and start to get compliments and then slack down, and befor you realize it, have gained again! :( I'm trying the blood group diet at the moment. Anyway, looking forward to see your album. :)

I do go to the meetings. I tried to do it online once, but I really need that once a week face to face accountability to be successful. I think you'll enjoy making a album to track your WW journey. I'm enjoying putting it together little by little and if I'm haven't a tough evening I figure heck I'll just scrap.

What a great idea, Lynne!!! I just wish I could find some no cooking way to make food and lose weight! I guess I could go on a raw veggie diet!

Lynne, Mind if I ask how does one do a weight loss scrapbook? I'm not sure I want a whole bunch of pics of me "big" as I try to lose weight. It sounds interesting and I'm looking for something to motivate me as my Dr. challenged me to lose 20 lbs by Aug. (1 year from challenge date). At first i fought it then I thought maybe I could try, now I'm looking for ways to keep me motivated.

Right now I have no pictures in it. I'm going to put a starting picture. Like you I don't want to spend a lot of time looking at me. What I want in it are the little motivational saying I hear... reminders of why I want to continue... should continue... need to continue. Just some things I think are funny related to weight. I'll post a few pages as an example.

A scrapbook would be great for your challenge.

Thanks Lynne, I might try that. I am currently working on my first LO without pictures. Although I do keep a journal so I didn't think it would be as hard as I am finding it. It's definitely been a struggle getting to the point where I'm taking ownership of the goal instead of just putting it off So maybe I'll start with that. Anyway I can tell I've switched into thinking through an idea mode and won't bore everyone with the details. Thanks again for the idea and the suggestions.

I do WW online and I see some ladies pick a name for a WW baby and they watch it grow as they lose. So if they lost 30lbs the baby would have grown to be a 30 lb baby. They come up with some funny names.
