Get It Done in 2008!!! What are you waiting for?????

We've got 20 members -- each "pledging" (well, at least daring themselves!) to finish more than 56 projects!!

Come on! What are YOU waiting for! You know you have 1 (or 2 or 3 or 4 or

5....) projects you really want to get finished this year -- but somehow you haven't had the motiviation to do it! Joining costs you nothing (except maybe a little OOPS! in December 2008!) if you don't finish them. What you get is the moral support to keep them going! To keep YOU going! Human nature is such that when you know someone else is keeping an eye on you... you may work a wee bit harder on a task! We won't be harsh taskmasters... just encouraging colleagues... all working to get things done!

Projects can be UFO's... those nearly finished but just seeming to linger... or those projects sitting in your drawer waiting to be started... or even in the back of your head... that "idea of a quilt) just waiting to become reality! Any "quilt" related project is eligible!

So what are YOU waiting for!

Let's see if we can't get at least 50 members and 200 projects identified! You know YOU have more than 1 project to get done this year! You're sitting there right now, reading this post - -thinking about those projects.... So come on... join us! Let us encourage each other as we all work to....

GET IT DONE IN 2008!!!

You CAN quit smoking! I know you can! Just keep telling yourself... I'll skip this one! Don't need THIS one...

Having never smoked I can't begin to understand the chemical addiction side of it... but I have faith in you!

YOU WILL DO IT!!!

LoL! I'm with you, Connie! I'm sitting here on and a muscle relaxer/pain killer with my eyes spinning like pinwheels, and she makes it sound like the opportunity of a lifetime even to me. heehee My UFOs are languishing due to lack of direction. I don't know what to do next with any of them. (Setting issues). Maybe I need a UFO round robin... :P

Hey Chipper, what about putting the undecided ones on a photo site and we could chime in and help you - one at a time! You know we always love doing that. and if it helps you, that's wonderful. Sorry you're not feeling so great. . In message , Chipper writes

I spent nearly six years dithering about a photo site. I just did it in the last few months. It was much easier than I thought it would be (I am not a techie), and I was cross that I hadn't done it sooner >g<

Hi Chipper!

Long time no "see". Don't get to read here as often as I'd like. Hope your muscle relaxer is doing the job. Sorry you're not feeling well.

Best regards, Michelle in NV

Kate for President.... you'd rue the day you advocated for that. According to my sons.... I'm just to the right of.....

Atilla the Hun!

While I'm not a "bible-thumping" conservative... I'm about as far right as you can get and not fall off the edge!

My oldest son is very liberal... my #2 son is fiscally conservative and socially liberal (much like our Minnesota governor was... you remember him? Jesse "the body" Venture... of "My governor can beat up your governor" fame. When he was first elected we wondered what this pro-wrestler was gonna do to Minnesota... and generally speaking... he left it better than he found it!

Now if I could channel my own enthusiasm into my own weight loss plan! Then I'd have it made! It's a lot easier to get psyched up about sewing!
