Get it Done in 2008!!! Sign up TODAY!!!

I did a similar challenge a few years ago. We had a number of participants! Some eagerly completed their designated projects... others (like me) lingered on .... and on....

So I'm going to try it again for 2008! Sometimes a little public accountability goes a long way!!!

Here is the link!

I encourage EACH of you to stop in -- join the group. (To keep the group limited to RCTQ -- I will need to approve your request to join - -just be sure in your initial "application" -- to identify your RCTQ known screen name.) I will approve you VERY quickly!!

Then go to the DATABASE and enter your projects. You only need a few details for each project. (Your screen name.... a project name... a brief project description... current status... and eventually a completion date!!! I will send out monthly reminders to update your projects -- giving you a little "nudge" on those still lingering on your "haven't gotten to it yet" list.

So come on ... step up and identify yourself... and the projects you wish to complete during 2008. You may add new ones throughout the year. Pictures can be added when projects are completed as well.

This group is open to all RCTQ'ers. If you have questions -- please post here or email off group.

Okay quilters... let's see what we want to get done this year!

We've got 20 members -- each "pledging" (well, at least daring themselves!) to finish more than 56 projects!!

Come on! What are you waiting for! You know you have 1 (or 2 or 3 or 4 or

5....) projects you really want to get finished -- but somehow haven't had the motiviation to do it! Joining costs you nothing (except maybe a little OOPS! in December 2008!) if you don't finish them. What you get is the moral support to keep them going! To keep you going!

Projects can be UFO's... those nearly finished but just seeming to linger... or those projects sitting in your drawer waiting to be started... or even in the back of your head... that "idea of a quilt) just waiting to become reality!

So what are YOU waiting for!

Other than a Yahoo! screen name -- there is NOTHING else you need... Just join the group, click on the DATABASE... and start adding your projects (Add Record) If you wish to post a message to all the members of the group -- just click on MESSAGE... and go from there!

Let's see if we can't get at least 50 members and 200 projects identified! You know YOU have more than 1 project to get done this year! You're sitting there right now, reading this post - -thinking about those projects.... So come on... join us! Let us encourage each other as we all work to....

GET IT DONE IN 2008!!!

I just added 3 projects, have several more, but these three are most imperative. One is a past due class sample, and the other 2 are for the big guild show in March. Will add others later, as I determine which ones are next on the list.
