Rainbow Swap Kits from 2005

I finally completed three more of the Rainbow Swap Kits from last year's swap. I did them while I was at the weekend crop in Gatlinburg. Katrina or someone, can you refresh my memory. Was there 10 kits all together? I think I still have two to go, but I'm going to have to go through my page kits to find them. I believe there was a silver one and a purple one, but I'm not sure. I added the three LO's to my Rainbow Swap Album in my webshots account.

Wow Sandy they are looking great. You reminded me of them. I tend to hoard really special stuff instead of using it. I will look around for where I stored these and get to working on some. I forgot how really special these kits were.

Yes, there was a silver (metallics) kit and a purple one. I'll have to go check out your pages. I, too, haven't used mine yet either. You're the queen of kits though Sandy.

*hangs head in shame* Mine are still unused. I really have got to get back to scrapping. *sigh* You are the queen of page kits, Sandy! Yes, there was a purple one. I think that's the one I did. I remember doing the swap, and I have the kits, so I did one of them. LOL I think it was purple. I've slept since then.

Sandy you are so good using those kits. The pages are great. Mine are in a drawer just waiting for inspiration. I keep thinking I'll get to them when I finish the project I'm working on, but sadly they are still sitting there waiting.

Thanks to everyone for their comments and for looking at my LO's. I always try to use items from a swap whenever I can. I like knowing someone went to the trouble of making something for me to use. I always try to write the name/location of the person whose swap items were used in a LO on the back of the LO. It's kind of neat to look back later and say that for example 'Lynne from Cal helped me with this LO by sending me the handmade embellishments'. Sandy

Thanks, I felt really bad for just leaving them on the shelf after someone took the time to make me a kit to use. It did take a while to selelct photos to use them with. just had to keep the kits out where I could see them so I would use them. Sandy

I'm almost done with them now. I'll be ready for another one, too. Sandy

I originally got the idea of making kits from the newsgroup over a year ago. I can't remember who started the conversation, but someone gave out a great website on the subject. I copied some pages of info to use. Can't remember where the site is now. Sandy

I went through my kit boxes. Yes it was purple and metali. I found both of them. I have two kits to go and I will be done. I think the purple one will be great for an Easter/Spring LO. Sandy

Thanks, I really liked that one too. I had to make two of them so I could put one in each of their albums. Sandy

I'm ready for another one. Though I do have to use my title swaps, yet. I think the swaps we do here on the newsgroup are wonderful. A great way to scrap out of our 'box'. Sandy
