New album uploaded

Okay, I have always been pathetic about sharing. But, I just downloaded an album I created for someone I did not know. My mother's business is Reverse Mortgages and a client of hers got a reverse mortgage so he could retire. Mom had me make a scrapbook as a closing gift. I did not have pictures (which for me is what inspires my pages so this was a huge challenge for me). I'm very proud of how it turned out. Also, she threw him a retirement party at his Boeing offices. We took a camera and printer and the scrapbook to the party. I took pictures of those who came, tried to get the pictures in the book (before the party ended

-- but time was against this plan) and had the coworkers sign the scrapbook.

Some pages have pictures, others have signatures where people wanted their image glued... I took the pictures at the end of the party (strangely I had not thought to take the documentation pictures beforehand)... the remaining pictures and scrapbook were given to the retiree (with the photo adhesives for acid-free attachment).

The images are not as clear as I'd like them to be, but you get the idea. Retirement party followed by his new life... golfing and bagpiping; his two favorite pastimes.

Fabulous album Melissa and what a great idea for the retiree :o) I am sure that it will be appreciated greatly over the coming years...and will continue to provide pleasure as the photos are added. TFS :o)

Looks great Melissa! I'm sure he'll cherish it! Barb:o)

I like it Mellissa!

I know how hard it is do make pages without pictures, but if you use kit pages like from TLC that was not as bad.

Wow this is great :) I love the design idea with the feature paper on one side, and page with photos on the other (such as with pages 2-3 and the Thankyou pages).

Well done and TFS :)

Thanks for all the kudos... it was an enormous struggle to figure out what to do for someone I did not know...but I'm so thrilled with how it came out!
