8.5x8.5 Daisy Hill scrapbook album

I am new to this forum so I hope this is the place to ask.....

I purchased an 8.5 x 8.5 scrapbook ablum by daisy hill at Wal-Mart....its called the "coochie-coo" album....its a baby album that is green in color on the front with a space for a picture. Its top-loading.

Well, I am making this album for my niece's baby boy and it was looking really cute!! I decided I needed more pages and went to Wal-Mart and lo and behold, they do not carry any 8.5x8.5 album pages!!! aargh!!

I have tried "google" to get some info. on daisy hill but come up with nothing really pertaining to THIS daisy hill.....

So, does anybody have any ideas where I can get replacement pages for this album? Or have any ideas?

Thank you so much for ANY advice or help!!!

Hi Shadow....K & Co seem to do 8.5 X 8.5 page protectors. I found them on Scrapbook.com but you may be able to source them closer to home. Here is a link to the ones I found

:::Waving madly:::

Well hello there Marilyn! How are things over in Scotland??? I'm really glad to see you! Always makes me feel good to know that people I know and care for are doing OK! Now how about one of your humorous posts that I miss so much? I'd honestly be in 7th heaven!

Hugs, M-C

Hi M-C...how are you doing? I think I saw a post saying that you are about to undergo more surgery....knee replacement if I am not mistaken. Hope everything goes well with that.

I last posted a TY to the NG on the 13th January....as I had received a Super Turkey package from Dave. My post must have gone under the radar as it didn't receive any responses :o) Even the email I sent to thank Dave privately bounced back....I had to resend it on the 29th Jan when I saw he had posted to the NG. Guess I must have rained on somebody's parade....LOLOL

I didn't have a lot of time to catch up with all the news, so I just hit Catch Up. In the middle of January I was in bed for a week...knocked out with the flu....then a further week to really begin to feel human again. I am just beginning to spend some time online and looking at crafting sites.

Life has interfered with my crafting time I am afraid. I haven't done anything since pre-Christmas! All the lovely christmas cards I made to send out didn't make the mail either. **hangs head in shame** I have spent some time today packing them up in cello bags and they will be ready to be used this year. Yay.......I am ahead of the game for 2007 ROFL

Newsflash.....I have just printed off some photos to take to my 9 year old grandaughter tomorrow. I bought her the Vernest Lange Scrapbooking Memories from QVC for Christmas and she has started to make her own scrapbook :o)

Take care, Marilyn

I was also going to suggest K & Co. - I believe they are the only company that makes the 8.5 x 8.5. I know they also make a scrapbook line for Target stores (called Marcella by K, or something like that), so if you have a Target in your area you may try them.

Cindy in Southern IL (a semi-newbie to this group - I have been reading it for years, but I imagine it had been forever since I posted because I had to re-join in order to do so!)

Hi Marilyn! *waves madly* So good to see you again! I'm glad you're feeling better, and getting back to what you enjoy again. Getting sick always seems to bring things to a stop, doesn't it?

Hi Deb.....*waving right back at ya :o)* I have missed you all but just didn't have much time or energy to keep up with all your news. Having flu really knocked the stuffing out of me! Only the second time I have had influenza in my lifetime...so I guess I shouldn't really complain. Come to think about it I don't really suffer from many colds either.

I did read the NG here and there but felt too out of the loop to post any replies. I think I saw that your kitty was having knee problems though. Hope that it doesn't require surgery :( When I read your post I thought that it sounded like Patellar Luxation, which is common in some of the small dog breeds. I know that you couldn't remember what the vet had diagnosed it as...so I may be totally wrong....it has been known. LOL

Take care, Marilyn

I'm glad you're feeling better Marilyn. That nasty flu bug can really take a toll on you. My two kiddos are getting over strep...both, at the same time. Yikes!

Digit seems to be doing much better. He actually found a way into the front window the other day. I haven't seen him get up there in months. He manages to climb up on the kids' beds, but can't manage to get in my lap. He ends up using claws to get in my lap, and he knows that's a no-no. I really need to do some LO's of him and share them. He's changed so much over the past almost year that we've had him!

I saw some of the paper packs at Michael's the other day in the

8.5x8.5 size. I think it was the Daisy Hill collection. It threw me off cause I thought it was 8x8. If they carry the paper, they should have the page refills. Try looking there if you have one close. I'll look at mine the next time I go.
