Finished another Baby Gift Album!

The people at church must think I spend my entire life scrapping :P We had another baby shower today so I made the mother-to-be one of my little baby gift albums with the ribbon binding... I started it more than month ago but then it sat until I went to the crop two weeks ago and I did four pages... then it sat some more until Wednesday night, when Eleanor said we were having the shower today after church! So the rest of the week was devoted to finishing it, although I did most of the work last night.

I even scanned it in and uploaded it all to webshots in my 'scrapbooking 2006' album -

to the end of the album. (I won't list all the pages seperately because there are too many...) The majority of them are very simple and done with bits and pieces that I already had left over from the other baby albums I made last year! I went out and bought some pink papers and some baby stickers for this one and I didn't actually use any of them, because they didn't seem to 'go' with the pastel tone. So I've got plenty of stuff for the next one. Anybody here expecting? :P And M-C I couldn't have done it without you - the sheet of 'age' stickers you sent me last year gave me an idea for how to do this album, so I did one page for each month of the kidlet's first year....

Thanks... that's because the major part of seven out of the ten pages came from the same 'baby' kit. You can make a sheet of pre-printed embellishments go a long way in a little album :)

Karen, you did a terrific job! I'm sure she will adore it! I always admire scrappers who are able to do albums without any pictures. I think that really requires true talent. TFS

Thanks Judy... but it's actually much EASIER than trying to do one with photos! You get to be as creative as you like and all you have to do is to make sure that there is space for actual photos on the page :P

Thanks! Gift albums are fun to do except when I let myself get bogged down in a page... :)
