Here's the baby album

I've still got three blank pages to do, and the rest of the album isn't entirely done... I think it needs more embellishments but I'm really not sure how to do it without restricting the end layout... this album is NOT for a scrapper, but I thought she'd like to have a scrapbook for her first baby. Any suggestions for how to improve or add to these pages will be gratefully accepted! I need to get it out to her SOON - her marriage has hit a rough patch and I think she could use a pickmeup.. One thing I thought of doing was a page for journalling 'firsts'... does that sound like a good idea? And what sort of things should I put on it? I don't have a lot of baby experience to go on since I've never had a kid of my own, or even much younger siblings etc.

Hi Karen,

There are a couple of baby albums that I've done on my webshots account. Maybe those will help.

I just looked at the book! Very cute!

You could have a first home or first room page(s). Also there are the standards, first tooth, first step...

very nice baby album. I also love your easter graphics. Where did you find those? I love bunnies. And they are the cutest. They would be great on my son's scrapbook. We are the bunny family. thanks for sharing.

Great album Karen. I love the colors and the papers you used. On the page with the clear flower stickers, maybe you could add some squares or rectangles of cardstock to match the flowers. I have a baby book on my website with a page of firsts in it if you want to take a look.

Thanks Tabitha! I stole your 'Things that happened' lists to put in the album...

It's cute Karen. I'm probably not much help, even though I have kids. LOL I had them way before I was a scrapper, so they're baby books are store bought, preprinted. I hate to admit those aren't even filled out as much as they should be! LOL

1st's page sounds great. I've done Zodiac pages for my baby albums and the 3 I've done for friends.

In fact if you go to my Webshots and look in the baby album you'll see my zodiac pages and then I have an ABC album I did that might give you ideas if you'd like to look at it.
