January2008 RCS LO Challenge

Create a 2 page layout in which you state your monthly goals. You must use items already in your scrapbook stash to complete your LO and you should "try" to itemize everything you have used and be willing to explain any technique you are using.

Your goals should include your card challenge goal as well as anything special you want to achieve or do. For example one of my goals is to go to Bush Garden this year. It is so close to home and I've only been once many years ago. I also want to do better weight wise, so I may include a monthly goal and reward. I want to be an NSSSF at least for two of the 4 rounds and I want to go back to Canada for a visit this summer. All things that need to go on my goals for this year.

Anyone reading this newsgroup may join in our challenges. This challenge ends on January 31st. There is no prize except the sense of accomplishment you will feel and the support of your fellow RCS scrappers!

Enjoy!

The prize will be having a really cool LO. I did one for 2006 and hung it in my craftroom. It's still up as I still love it. I'll have to work on doing another!

Great idea M-C! I will have to work on this one. Lynne, I like your idea of making one to hang up. Nice constant reminder.

I like this idea! My goals for this year (and pertaining to scrapping, may be few .. but it's all I can get done when I have the time) to do as many layouts as I can (minimum 5!), lose weight .. I'm on this great and easy diet: no thinking about it.. just do it! I've lost 3 pounds since friday! Also we plan to go to sea world in texas.

Aloha Everyone! I just loved this challenge M-C. I love to make collages so I incorporated news clippings from this weeks paper into my layout for different fonts. My goals include getting a job (since I will graduate with my Masters in May), 8 layouts a month, 5 cards a month for the card challenge, and running at least 1 mile a day to get active again and maybe lose a pound or two ;) (thats the 365/365 on the second page). So far I have been doing really well and I love the idea of having it hanging so it reminds me to get in gear! You can find both pages on website. They will be the first 3 photos in the slide show.
