What scrappy gifts did you get for X'mas?

Well, personally I've really been spoiled by my loved ones this year! We went to a X'mas Expo on the 23rd of Dec where I got lots of paper, ribbon and punches at give away prices as it was the last day of the show and the vendors started to clear their left over stock. My DH also got met a ligth box to use for embossing and I can't wait to use it! I've collected lots of stencils in the past year and finally I can use them! And then today I dropped into our local news agent and discovered that they now also stock some scrapping goodies! Not a lot, but still, I could not resist getting some Rugby ball stickers (our national sport over here - almost like American grid iron). Was the first time I've seen these and they would be perfect for a LO of DH in his school days on the Rugby team!

Anyways, enough babbling about me! What did everyone else get?

I was quite pleased with my scrappy gifts. I think I would have been disappointed if I hadn't received SOMETHING scrapbook related. Everyone knows though how much I love to scrap though so the biggest dilemma I heard from everyone was "I wasn't sure about what you already had." My husband's aunt got me 2 BEAUTIFUL paper sets that came with embellishments and all and some beautiful flower stickers and 2 pairs of deco scissors (which out of all the ones she could have gotten and I already have, she picked 2 I didn't have.) My MIL bought me a School Days set she said she ordered from Avon. My DH bought me a lace border punch that he said he had a hard time finding after I told him that was the one I wanted but could never find in the LSS. He ordered it online for me. My best friend gave me a $25 gift card to Hobby Lobby and I have already spent it! I went there and bought lots of little things I had been wanting. Now, I can't wait to use everything!

Santa did bring my 5 year old daughter a scrapbook tin that came with a little scrapbook, miniature deco scissors, glue stick, stickers, stencils, and some paper. He also brought her a pink 6 x 6 scrapbook (her fav color) and some stickers. She's a scrapper in the makings.

I recieved loads of alphabet stickers and FFF's from Dave ! I also recieved a stained glass firehelmet and a fireman nutcracker and a quilting frame for use wtih my sewing machine!! Very nice!! My grandparents sent a diamond bracelet home with my parents for me. (not big ones, just chips but it's soo pretty!!!) I was stunned!! We were very blessed this year.

Sounds like Judy and Trish recieved some very nice items!!

Hi Judy, I'm Karol from PA. I received a Scrapbooking Essentials kit for Christmas from my nephew. It's neat. It has some stencils and some colored texture paper and some elements too. Like tags for journaling. I'm so excited. It also came with a book called Scrapbooking Essentials.

Everyone sounds like they had wonderful holidays and fabulous gifts. DH got me a scanner for Christmas that also scanns slides and negative strips. I'm trying to figure out a space to set it up. I really needed a room stretcher. DD's got me some neat stickers, fibers and ribbon. My oldest DS gave me not one, but three snowglobes this year. I've moved pictures out of the hallway cabinet (it has a plexiglass front) to display part of my collection. I also received the marvelous package from Dave who was my SS this year. But, I think the best part was having my family home together for the holidays. It a two day period I was able to spend time with every one of my children and grandchildren. Good times and wonderful memories. Sandy

Sounds like everybody had a wonderful Christmas! I thoroughly enjoyed my Christmas. :-) Now to remember what I got. LOL Let's see...

MC gave me some Jolee's tulips, cross brads, and TLC Quick Sand chips, along with a very cute kitty ornament.

My NSSSF Dorothy gave me a Silent Setter, Chizzle-It (already played with it on some buttons!), 8 x 8 album kit, 6 x 6 Christmas paper pad, Plan a Page template, Karate stickers, alpha stickers, a Sassy Scrapper, snowflake brads, keyhole brads, and Christmas slide mounts.

My SS Katrina, gave me a Coluzzle starter set with swivle knife and snap knife, a handmade acrylic frame for a picture of me (still working on that picture!), Karen Foster liscense plates, letter charms that spell "LAUGHS", mini stapler with colored staples, label holders, embossed metal tages with ribbons, blank acrylic frames, printed acrylic labels, embossed charms, and a blue angel/bell ornament.

Our resident SSS Dave sent me and the family a Target GC. Yes, I'll share it with them! We haven't used it yet, though. (I'm not crazy about the after-holiday sale crowds.)

I have to brag on DH. He bought me a beautiful amythyst/white gold ring. Amethyst is my birthstone and I've wanted a ring for ages. The stinker made me cry. Plus the amethyst earrings that DS picked out because "they're purple". My sis and BIL gave me "The Cookie Bible". I can't wait to dive into it! My Mom made me (and sis and SIL) a crocheted afghan from some yarn her and I got in Juarez, Mexico years and years ago. Poor Mom...she started one sweater with the yarn three different times over several years. Then she found the beginnings of the last sweater and decided to heck with the sweater and made 3 afghans. LOL Way to go Mom! She also sent me an everyday crafts book that will be great with the kiddos. I also have to brag on my Mom. She made DD a beautiful canopy for her bed. It hangs from the ceiling, and she used a hula hoop for the frame. I'm not explaining it very well. Once DH has it hung (hopefully tonight!) I'll take pics and post them. You guys have to see it! There was lots more, but I've babbled enough. We had a wonderful and very blessed Christmas though! Happy New Year everybody!

Actually, it wasn't me that helped SIL. It's kind of a long story, and I'll tell you next time I see you. But no matter what, I'm glad you got something you like!
