I want to take the supplies for the Spring Bell Pull and also a lovely stained glass looking kitty cat silhouette needlepoint piece that my friend Valerie gave me for Christmas 2 years ago. That one I have on the scroll frame already and have even started working on the leading. Then there are the things I want to do for the SMDGD -- a few cute Daisy Kingdom dresses, a Halloween Kitty vest, a Birthday Bunny door hanging and a quilt for DD. I'm just thankful that I had the foresight to leave a sewing machine at DD's when we moved to Magnoliaville! I don't have to drag one across the country -- just up the Mogollon Rim -- LOLOL! HMMM -- I better talk to Rachel Duke and see if she's going to be around so we can have a bit of a visit. CiaoMeow >^;;^<

On the life sucks, sometimes that happens, but nothing is permanent and I swear if you do something for someone else, your mood will be so much better. So, I say something uplifting, something to make you a better person, happier person...do a solid for a fellow sufferer. Lifetime guarantee on that suggestion.

Oh that is just precious! I didn't see it at first, then when I did I fell in love with that baby!

Well, Mikabird is just fine. In another thread about Caron Watercolors I reported her poopy poopington on my current project of Winter Sampler. She also inspects, and when a thread is the least bit loose, she has this OCD thing going on where she HAS to "beak" it. Beaking is something birds do. It's how they touch things since they don't have hands. She is going to be 6 in August. She says "I love you, Gimme Kiss," and when I ask her for a kiss, she puts her beak to my mouth and kisses. I call her the pooping moose! She does know how to poo in her poo area, but now and then...well, she's a bird. They poo every ten minutes and it was my fault for not sending her over to her gym. I won't tell my MIL when she gets the sampler for Christmas...though last year we went up to Green Bay with the Mikabird. We wanted to see Brett Favre play his last year and MIL is from that area. She loves Mika...aka, the Pooping Moose. :)

Have a good rest in AZ. With Mark's recent lay off at Dell Inc. we may be on the move again. AZ may be a consideration, but it MUST be warm in the winter. I got the rheumatiz.

That is adorable! He's, if he's a he, is hiding his boyhood with his arm! I am so warped, but then again after the 18 year old discussion last week I think I have some competition on the warped angles.

We have quite a few computer-related businesses in this area: Intel, HP, etc. Winter is only 6 weeks long; by February we're up in the 70s again.

Macaws are the only parrots who have white skin patches on their faces. When I give Mika a kiss I almost suction her whole head in! She loves when I gently smooth her skin on her face, especially near her chin.

You're in No. Cal. right? It is so beautiful there. I retreat in Soquel every year and it is a very mild winter. Just enough to get a nice mist in the forest with beams of light showing through in the morning dew.

Isn't it expensive there? We also considered Portland OR and Seattle. I think Mark is possibly totally burned out on high tech. We were talking about him applying to be a postal carrier today. Much less money, but also less stress. Pay is nowhere what he made at Dell, so we'll live lean. I don't mind. We have a good life. I'd rather lose everything than lose my husband to early death because of stress.

We'll see.

My dh loves the mountains, especially those in the west. I like the Utah area too - Arches is one of my favorite national parks. Anyway, I contacted Vicky Nessel and she still has the chart available. I've ordered it and hope to do it behind dh's back (he teaches two nights a week - that will help). I hope to get it done by Christmas. If not, his bd's in June. .

Not as bad here as other areas of NorCal. By midwestern perspectives, housing prices anywhere in Calif are ridiculous, but by Calif standards they're reasonable in the Sacramento Valley.

A million years ago, a designer here on this newsgroup did the Grand Canyon. I bought it directly from her. Does anyone remember who that was, and if so, is she still here? I could go look, but I'm not moving or I'll lose couch privileges!
