I'd like to embroider and sew hankies for a bridal party but have several questions.
First, I don't have a serger so I'm wondering how to finish the edge. My "small hem" foot does a poor job of beginning to sew after rounding a corner. I can use a cutter foot with a small zig zag and that then hems nicely, but that leads me to my second question.
Where does the lace go, on top of the hankie or below the hankie material?
Any suggestions from someone who has been there before are welcome
