Making handbags

When I lived in NH, and about froze my nethers off, I got some from the Campmor catalogue. Now I'm on the Winter Silks mailing list, and they have quite a selection. I recently scored some silk/cotton sweat shirts off them. I had three that I found NWT in a thrift store a few years ago, and I have worn them into rags. The combination of cotton and silk in a sweatshirt fleece is perfect for my "lifestyle" - not too hot, not too cold, just right. And they look classier than Hanes. ;-)

I'm thinking of duofold - wool/cotton on the outside, used to be cotton on the inside, but now is probably nylon or something.

Patra used to sell silk thermals by mail order in the UK, and here in France I buy them from La Redoute, which has a UK arm too.

I also have silk and wool ones from M&S, wool army issue longjohns from Laurence Corner and some CC41 Utility cotton and wool thermals - 60 years old and still going stong. I live in my thermals all winter - haven't worn tights in years.

no stalkers or other bad people will buy this type of garment. It has great potential for mayhem, in my humble opinion.

Wait until they have to reboot their clothes!
