I have created a new web-based UK focused sewing and couture dressmaking discussion forum at

where anyone running a small sewing business, sewing as a hobby, or interested in knowing more about sewing can form a community to share information and help each other.Experienced sewers from outside of the UK will also be welcome. Indeed, the differences between how things work in the UK and elsewhere (material availability, pattern sizes, etc.) will be of general interest.
You can read any messages without registering but in order to post you do need to provide a register which involves choosing a user name and a valid email address. The email addresses will be kept private to the forum and will not be passed onto any third parties.
