thought I had finished everything I needed to have doen for Christmas, and found out this afternoon that i wasn't.
Today was the dress rehearsal for the children's pageant at church, in which Rebekah is baby Jesus. Well, Tom saw one of his friends sitting in the front row (son of a friend of mine) and went to sit with him. When David went on stage, Tom went with him. They asked me if I wanted him in the pageant, and I said, only if they wanted him...LOL...big mistake. Tom is now a sheep, and there were no white sweats to be had anywhere (didn't try WalMart, but couldn't find a parking space that wasn't in a different shopping area!!). After a quick dinner, I took rebekah out and got white fleece to make some pants (on sale$3.49/yd) as well as 4 new patterns ($0.99/ea) and fabric for one of the patterns (Tom has to dress as his favorite bible charater in a few months, and he wants to be Daniel....fabric for robe, vest, and fleece to make lions, which will be attached to the vest...you know, Daniel in the Lion's den :-)).
Anyway, the white pants are done, and his entire outfit is upstairs..white pants, turtleneck, and black socks and gloves...oh, and a white hat with ears attached. Rebekah is much easier - white sleeper wrapped in a white towel.
Phew! MOther and Grandmother should be here in time for the start of the pageant, we will be having big dinners tomorrow and on Christmas day....pot roast tomorrow and turkey on Christmas day, thanks to another dear friend who ha[ppened to have one more than she needed.
