I am looking for a "plastic" steam iron that doesn't use salt. It is unlike a standard steam iron in that the sole plate doesn't get hot, it just generates steam. I have found a couple of them, but they both use salt instead of a direct electrical connection to boil the water. The ones that use salt end up corroding. Does anyone know of such an iron? Any clue you can give me to advance my search would be appreciated.
