I have been asked to monogram initials of students names onto t-shirts. Is it necessary for the t-shirts to be pre-washed ? I always have pre-washed items, whenever using iron-on's ,as noted by their directions. I have in the past also, washed t-shirts/sweatshirts whenever monogramming. I am just not sure it is necessary when doing monogramming. The shirts/sweatshirts were purchased @ A.C..Moore, so they will shrink in sizing. Thanks for your assistance/suggestions.
