For the second time in 2 months my Brother NX400 has jammed. This time I think the bobbin thread jammed. I've taken it all out and cleaned and put it back but no joy.
I think it likes going 'home' to Brother as it's already been back twice since I bought it just over a year ago.
My dealer thinks the bobbin shuttle needs replaced which he wants to charge £25 for. He suggested I try Brother but wasn't hopeful as the warrenty on the shuttle is only 1 year n that part.
Anyone know an online or cheaper supplier of bobbin shuttles for this model?
I'm really quite upset that this machine keeps breaking down - this time he thinks it's due to 'pilot error' as in my trying to free the thread when it jammed and pulling the shuttle out of position. Whether this is actually what happened I don't know.
He is not local so all this has been deduced over the phone.
Any help would be most welcome.
