Maybe some of my woodturning friends can help. My son is in an indoor percussion group (winter drum line) and they are due to go to San Diego next week for the world championships. His group is 3 time world champions. Anyway, the bottom line is that they have lost their lodging. They need a church, school gym, or anywhere that can accomodate 50+ college age kids. They have all the sleeping gear etc. they need, they just lack a place to put it. Any where within 90 minutes of central SD would be great. They are an extremely hard working, responsible bunch and have very minimal requirements. The dates are about the 14th through the 17th.
