Several posts to another forum (which allows including pictures) brought up ways of improving examples posted. One that set me off playing with ways to illustrate some key ideas of transitions was a hollow form - with pedestal and finial. The parts individually were really nice. But the transition one to another was pretty harsh - straight into a curve, curve into a straight.
One of the main suggestions had to do with transitions - one part to another.
