Nicely made little machine but if you are going to turn wood, why bother? IMO this is a pen or minature lathe only. You can turn a small bowl but it lacks power; I didn't care much for the dinky tool rest. Much better way to spend money would be to get a Jet, General, Delta, ... mini-lathe. More power, capacity, industry standard accessory mounts (1x8TPI spindle, MT2). Billh
