ADDENDUM to FAQ's for ongoing 6 x 6 exchange

Did I frigggin SAY 'addy'???? NO!! I suggested COUNTRY in case someone has issues with prohibitive expenses regarding mailing out of their country. YEESH. Noreen

putting ones country on here makes them trackable as well, and whilst some may have issues with postage for different countries, others may not want it broadcast where they are from. The 6x6 square exchange is to collect squares from as many people as you can from ALL around the world....two lightweight squares don't cost more than loose change, we had this discussion before, and if people have a problem with that, they can ask for a local partner when they signup, and we will accomodate them where we can...

excuse me. noreen dropped the subject a day and a half ago. if you read through all the posts, you will discover that noreen herself has made repeated requests to take it off the list. one person has continued to attack, thereby rendering noreen in a position to defend herself, and she has now chosen to entirely ignore the subject. thanks twig dd#1 via noreens pc

I've read the posts. I haven't seen ANY attacks on Noreen, tho I *have* seen some rather hurt responses.

I can only guess that someone somehow has hurt her feelings... quite badly. Honestly, in all my time lurking here, I have never read anything from her like the response "Did I frigggin SAY 'addy'???? That suggests, to me, that Noreen and Cher are having a 'go'.

It *IS* a shame. But, don't think Noreen has been placed "in a position to defend herself". She doesn't owe an explanation to anyone in the newsgroup. Honestly, as much as I googled, I haven't found what it is she feels needs defending.

As a member of the group (however previously silent) I can only say that if the group no longer brings Noreen joy, and is instead bringing her stress, then she certainly should walk away for awhile. Just know that her presence will be missed. I can't remember ever looking at the posts and NOT seeing a helpful or kind post from Noreen.

Here's hoping that her 'vacation' is refreshing -- long enough to satisfy, and short enough to bring her back soon.

Hi Noreen, I'm not using any dumb card, remember I have changed my email, it is on here, when I asked you a day or so ago to email me, as \you said you had other issues ..so I emailed you and it came back via system admin, so Ive got something wrong...again...

You and I go back a long way Noreen, alot further than the 6x6 exchange don't we? Do you honestly think that disagreeing with something makes me care about you less? If you do, you really don't know me that well, and I'm surprised. Because I thought I knew you better. I do know you better don't I? I've been with you through a lot tougher times than\ this, things you've shared with me, stay there with me, I still care for you hon, even though you don't like me very much at the moment, but like you, I too am entitled to my own view, but\ this'll be buried along with us both one day, part of life's mystery...or something.

As much as I've been there for you, I know you have been there for me, and so I know you care too, because if you don't then all those nights we spent together me holding you up, and you holding me up, would have meant nothing, would have made us both shallow and we aren't are we?

Whether you decide to never speak\ with me again is up to you, but before you make that decision, you will know that my feelings\ for you haven't altered, if disagreeing means our feelings change for each other, then it would mean that there was nothing there in\ the first place, and as I say, we go back too far together for this to be so, unless one of us is shallow...

Anyway I'm not against you as you may think, just so's you know, I won't stop caring about you just cos we have a difference of opinion, be a right weird world if we all thought the same wouldn't it?

Noreen, who this person is has no bearing on the request that was made to take it offlist. And I repeat it - I don't want to know about your personal fights with someone else. It has no place on a public forum. I will not reply to any further posts on this subject. AFAIC this subject is CLOSED - period, and will be filtered from my Outlook Express.
