AD: Florals up on eBay - Tink

Howdy all...

My garden is in full bloom! The Hostas, Rose of Sharon, Hollyhocks, Bee Balm... It's lush and delicious, and I can't tell you how wonderful it is to have dirt to play in once again! Prairieson has an astounding green thumb, and I can't get over how glorious our little plot of land is!

When I finally hit the torch about midnight last night, I had just come in from one last stroll around the garden. Needless to say, flowers were on my mind. I don't do that many florals, and when I do, they're typically snatched up by my terriffic mailing list customers. Well, I was feeling rather lazy today, so I decided to post here first. I also don't offer a lot of multiple bead sets.

Two listings: A small three bead set and a large multiflora :-)

Thanks for looking!

You know, I was just thinking about taking some pics. Thanks for the nudge. I'll be back in a bit with images. It's clouding up here, so I'd better hurry!

Your beads are absolutely beautiful, as always! Your description of your gardens reminds me how much I miss my gardens on the farm. Any chance we could see a picture of all the flowers? Diana

It terrifies me. I promise I'll try some more tonight. Now do you see one of the big reasons I don't do custom orders??? LOL!

In all seriousness..I'd rather take a spacer or two in a complimentary color rather than have you waste glass trying to get an exact match. Really..if that's easier, do that, please! :-)

Thank you! I had an encasing epiphany recently, and made a quantum leap overnight. Of course, all that darn practice might have helped a little. LOL!

I think that for a long time, I was SOOOO afraid of letting the bead get too cold that I had it too hot when I tried to encase. Another thing that has helped me is working with thicker encasing rods... 12+mm.

Ironically, I have been working on my surface florals the last couple of nights. I'm trying very, very hard to get the "painted on", watercolor look. To no avail, I'm afraid.

I'm hoping someone grabs up my multiflora auction. The picture doesn't do it justice. It's been a bad picture month where beads are concerned. :-P

Looks like someone snagged it up, yay!

I'm seriously obsessed with encased florals. I *should* (haha!) be making goddesses, because they sell, but I keep thinking about the florals, obsessing over the florals... I gotta make the florals! Before I started this week of attempted floral-therapy, I had myself convinced that I didn't really like florals, but now I know it was just sour grapes... I MUST MAKE THEM!

I have ugly floral rejects all over my house now. I don't know what to do with them.

I did make a lovely stamen cane, but unfortunately, it doesn't help the smeared, distorted petals one bit.

I actually have made some pretty, very small florals... I don't mean to sound like florals have escaped me entirely; it's just the fancier, fully encased styles that elude me mockingly!

Well, these suckers are yours, then!
