from the 'other side'

we had good friends who lived out that way...Martyn Wright Rd, iirc...they've since moved back to the city and now have been living in Belguim for the past couple of yrs where his work took them. my roommate at Middlemore last weekend was from Patamahoe. my dh was born/raised here in BHB where we are now.

any idea how long you'll be at Middlemore? so i know when to try to get thru to you on the phone for a wee chat or i can just leave a msg for you with the nurses in your ward if you're not yet coherent when i call. i know nothing at all about your procedure so have no idea how long it takes or when you'll be up to anything at all. i was out of commission for the first 3 days. didnt even want my dh to come in cuz i didnt want to talk. i found it all too exhausting. :/ if i dont get thru, do get well soon. let us know here when you're home and up to at least a wee post just to let us know you're all ok and getting better. gentle hugz, j.

wrote ... Jeanne, the angiogram is not a major, just mostly uncomfortable from what I remember. It's been a few years since I had the last stent put in. My last name is Murray and live at Glenbrook (15 mins from Drury). I actually started school at Blockhouse Bay School . Thankyou. Carol in Auckland, NZ

Jeanne, Martyn Wright Rd is 5 mins from me over towards Patumahoe. We are in Brookside Rd. My parents lived in Green Bay (before any schools were built there) when I started at BH.Bay primary 55+ yrs ago. If all goes well on Fri, I will be in & out on the same day, even if they do an agioplasty. I have had the other 2 stents & 2 attempts at it, when in Middlemore ICU, so this is abit new. If it gives me more energy, I will be very happy. The brain and the body aren't co-operating these days. I have to be there at 7am & hopefully be home late afternoon.. To email me, take out the letters remove from this email address. Thankyou for caring Carol

Am home and good after the angiogram today, with no new stent needed, so that is 1 problem down. Lung function test next apparently. Thankyou so much for the emails. Carol in Auckland, NZ

Oh good news. Good luck with the next stage, but, at least you now know what it isn't.
