OT--amazing sand sculptures

took a while to load but then i am on dial up here. there are 3 pages of these amazing sculptures. i wonder if someone was clever enough you could make a quilt from one of these designs in lots of beiges? have fun look'n. jeanne

That is amazing. It reminds me of the ice sculptures that are created in Breckenridge Colorado every winter.

Those are out of this world amazing! Thank you for posting that. I enjoyed looking at some of the other images of Victoria and Vancouver also. That is one great site! I am going to pass this on to the family!

Those are really cool. I have seen a show oh the Travel Channel where they make the sculptures, then blow them up....it's a lot of fun. They only have a certain amount of time to make their piece, then if it gets blown up, they have to make a recovery sculpture. it's called Sand blasters. Here's a link to a video that kinda explains it.

I remember seeing some of these in the newspaper a while ago. They're quite remarkable, aren't they? And the scenery is so "Pacific Northwest"....
