OT: computer question

I just got a new laptop! Now I need to know how to move my favorites [located on the C drive in this desk top] over to the new laptop. I have a lot of favorites, in several different folders.

Can anyone help?

New one is a Dell Inspiron with 17" screen.

Nothing is ever as easy as it sounds - but can you copy the favorites onto a cute little 'thumb' drive and then off of that onto the laptop? That's how I get embroidery designs from the computer to the emb. machine. Just tickles me that the tiny thumb drive ( and I ) can do that. It blinks; it's done and I am amazed. Polly

If your're using IE7 or 8

Go to File Down to Import/Export Choose Export to a file Click Next Check box next to Favorites Click Next Select which favorites (choose the main folder to get them all) Click Next Browse to where you want to save them. Click Export (It should happen)

You can them save them to a thumb drive to move them, if that is not where you have exported them already.

Roughly the same process, but choose import on your new computer.

Hope this helps

I know Chrome has as an export feature that makes it pretty easy to do that --

What browser do you use? Explorer? Firefox? Chrome?

Can anyone help?
