Just bragging a little bit. Kerry Weiland of the U.S. Hockey team is a Palmer High School graduate and now a Silver Medalist. She is our second after Tommy Moe years ago in Lillehammer when he won a Gold and Silver in ski events. We're feeling pretty happy today in Palmer town.
She was not a student in one of my classes but as with most sport or academic standouts, I knew of her at school. Just makes you feel good when someone from your school has such success, at whatever they do.
Anyways, just thought I would do a shout out.
