Oh lordy. This is a complicated question, and is going to take some serious web searching, and probably a few phone calls to get a satisfactory answer! Go to http:/

Contact your local health dept. for your mandatory TB test too for your food handlers license.

I had something similar a couple of years ago when I was looking into making Bentonite facial products using Essential olls and emu oil.

I chickened out when I read the FDA liablity contract for cosmetic products.

Decided to sell the recipe for kits instead.

Jewelry was less complicated......

Seriously.

Here's a whacky idea: Check and see if there are any food network shows that show high volume pretzel production (The Best Of, Top 5, Unwrapped spring to mind,) get a tape, and watch it closely. You might pick up a few names off the equipment shown. You never know.

Surprisingly, there was NO pretzel makers of any kind on E-Bay.

I outfitted most of my bagel shop on E-Bay. (There are two bagel divider/formers), but nothing for pretzels except the ever present display cases.

Never having made a pretzel, I don't know what to look for, but I'm sure they are out there.

Here's an interesting article I found. This guy makes his by hand. Maybe that's the way to go.

Your question is really outside the scope of the rec.food.cooking group. Try reading any food instrusty magazines to see if they have ads in them for the type of equipment you need, or perhaps information about industry groups where you might ask your questions.
