Sad, sad news

Howdy!

Brace yourself, because this is really sad.

Donna A (in Idaho) let me know that her husband, Wayne, passed away this evening (Thursday). He was suffering from ALS, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, aka "Lou Gehrig's Disease".

This situation has happened quickly, and Wayne has been taken all too soon.

I met Donna & Wayne here in Arlington a few years ago, 2 of the sweetest, dearest, most incredible people. I will miss Wayne, just knowing he was around to be with dear Donna. Sandy, do you which funeral parlor is handling this situation? these days, they ususally have a cyper "guest book" for people who can't make the funeral but would like to write a few words about the loss of a loved one.

Let me (us) know and that way we each could write our condolences.

This is sad news indeed. They are very giving people and it will be hard for Donna to go on doing so much without her supportive other- half. God bless her and her family. Debra in Idaho

I never met either Donna or Wayne, but of course I "know" Donna from here at RCTQ. I'm sending along my deepest condolences on her loss. Thanks for letting us know, Sandy.

Please give Donna my condolences. What a sad day! ALS is a brutal disease that desperately needs a cure.
